Manchester Development Gala- Timekeepers, marshals, Lane Helpers, Starter

The Manchester Development Gala is swimming event for children and adults with Cerebral Palsy or a physical disability can. It is a fun based competition with no strict ASA laws applied. Races are over 10/25/50m in a variety of strokes and all swimmers take part in heats and handicapped finals. Medals are awarded to the top 3 in each finals and all swimmers will receive a certificate.

We need volunteers to help run the gala. Roles include timekeepers, a starter, marshals and lane helpers so the swimmers know where to go and when. Travel expenses will be paid

Manchester Aquatics Centre, 2 Booth Street East, M139SS

Travel Expenses are paid for.

No skills required. Experience with a stopwatch or excel is useful for me to know in advance so I can put you in the right jobs!

Roadworks and limited parking so please check before travel.

The aim of the Gala is really positive and i met few nice and kind person there. Although i don't think i did a lot but i still enjoyed myself and i think my communicate skill has been improved when trying to sell the reference tickets.
